Peng Ho made an impact in the 5-4 Mancelona win over Belleville. Ho went 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Todd Porter was the winning pitcher. Over 7 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 9 hits, with 2 walks and 7 strikeouts. Geoffroy Cadaloba earned the save for Mancelona, his 3rd of the year.
Ho contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Mancelona in the bottom of the seventh. With his team trailing 4-1, Ho took a sinker from Jesús Lara and stroked the home run to center. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Torch to leap in front, 5-4.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Ho told the Mancelona Gazette.
The Bulls drop to 6-6 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2029 season.
