Great Day for Henderson in Polar Bears Win
|
Dave Henderson made an impact in the 5-2 Billings win over Bethesda. Henderson, who is tied for 8th in the 3AA in hits with 104, went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Billings, at 50-49, sits in 6th place in the Menard's AA.
Henderson had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 1-1 fastball from Phil Miller, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Polar Bears a 4-1 lead. It was the 10th home run of the year for Henderson.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Henderson told the Billings Observer.
