Behind a solid performance from center fielder Pedro Morales, the Billings Polar Bears defeated the Bethesda Atoms, 10-3. Morales was 2-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5 for the Polar Bears. Salvador López went 5.1 innings for Billings to pick up the win. The right-hander was charged with 3 earned runs. He scattered 5 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 5. His record improves to 8-6. Billings grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Morales hit a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Polar Bears out in front, 5-2.
