The Ottawa Nationals turned back the Casper Ghosts, 5-4, at Nationals Park. Tomás Bermúdez was named player of the game for his fine performance. He went 2-3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 runs. Ottawa is now 38-38. Casper is 40-36.
Late-game drama came in the bottom of the ninth inning. With no one out and the bases empty, the batter, Tomás Bermúdez, hit a single. It helped Ottawa seize the win.
