Belvedere Park Rawhides starter Paul Addison pitched a strong game against the Casper Ghosts at Field of the Rawhides, leading the Rawhides to a 3-2 win. Ramón Lara picked up the save, his 3rd. The win puts the Rawhides at 28-26, while the Ghosts drop to 26-28.
The Rawhides got a big at-bat from catcher David Martínez. For the game, Martínez was 1-4. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 47th hit of the season gave Belvedere Park a 3-2 lead.
In postgame comments to the Belvedere Park Bulletin, Addison said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
