Ghosts Prevail, 6-5, Over Belvedere Park

The Casper Ghosts did just enough to secure a 6-5 victory over the Belvedere Park Rawhides at Field of the Rawhides. Nobody did more than pitcher Rhett Abbott, who captured player of the game honors. The Ghosts now own a record of 26-26.
The most important at-bat for Casper came in the top of the ninth inning, when center fielder Jorge Díaz stroked a first pitch fastball to right-center for a run-scoring double, putting Casper up, 6-5.
"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Casper manager Steve Carpenter.
