Big Day by Gonzáles Sparks Polar Bears Win

In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
The Billings Polar Bears beat the Casper Ghosts, 8-0, at The Graveyard. The win was largely due to the efforts of left fielder Arturo Gonzáles, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The winning continues for Billings, with the latest making it 7 straight.
It could have been a different outcome for Billings, had it not been for Dave Henderson, the 32-year old second baseman . Henderson contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Billings up, 1-0.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Gonzáles told reporters after the game.
