The Bethesda Atoms defeated the Glendale Herons, 6-3, in M3L Double A action at Heron Field, with Bethesda pitcher Luis Torrez named player of the game. In 8 innings, Torrez surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 3. He allowed 3 runs. Bethesda is now 17-24, while Glendale is 17-24.
