Virginia Beach Deuces starter Tzu-hsia Ong turned in an exceptional performance against the Billings Polar Bears at The Igloo, resulting in a Virginia Beach win, 3-1. The Deuces raised their record to 5-3.

It could have been a different outcome for Virginia Beach, had it not been for Leo Szilard, the 23-year old shortstop . Szilard contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Virginia Beach up, 3-1.

"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Szilard.
