Buzz Prevail, 2-1, Over Royse City

The Salt Lake City Buzz picked up a win at Spirits Stadium, knocking off the Royse City Targaryens, 2-1. Starting pitcher Víctor García, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. In 6.2 innings, García surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. The Buzz raised their record to 5-2.
It could have been a different outcome for Salt Lake City, had it not been for Jung-hwan Kwon, the 27-year old third baseman . Kwon contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth inning to put Salt Lake City up, 2-1.
"There was no wiggle room in this one," said García.
