The Port Royal Disaster defeated the Alaskan Humpbacks, 5-1, in USSL Triple A action at Ballpark of Port Royal, with Port Royal pitcher Joe Griffin named player of the game. Port Royal has now won 3 straight, while the Humpbacks have lost 3 in a row.

Wrangler Haresnape, who is tied for 2nd in the SAAA in total bases with 182, aided the Port Royal cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 4 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Griffin told the Port Royal Observer.
