The Tortolita Drummers eked out a 4-3 win versus the Alaskan Humpbacks at Drummers Ballpark. Nobody did more than first baseman Ricardo Pacheco, who captured player of the game honors. Briggs Bourgeois was called on to finish, recording his 27th save. Tortolita is now 49-42, Alaskan 43-48.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd and two out in the bottom of the fifth inning. That's when center fielder Sean Godron drew a walk. The Drummers went on to win.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Pacheco told the Tortolita Daily News.
