ParksNRec Top Disaster Behind Castillo, 2-0
|
Pawnee beat Port Royal on the strength of starter Albert Castillo's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 2-0 win. Denver Milne sewed up the save, his 19th. Pawnee is now 30-49, while Port Royal is 39-40.
Castillo, a native of Las Matas de Farfan, Dominican Republic, was dealing all game. He kept Port Royal hitters off-balance, while giving the ParksNRec 7 quality innings. Castillo threw 108 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 9.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Pawnee manager Rusty Bennett.
