It was a fun time at Monster Field, where the Pawnee ParksNRec and Vermont Lake Monsters tangled.

Pitcher Roberto Cantú was sensational for the Vermont Lake Monsters in his team's 3-0 triumph over the Pawnee ParksNRec. Cantú received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Cherles Gachineiro converted his 19th save in 23 tries.

The ParksNRec had trouble solving Cantú, who surrendered no earned runs on 3 hits over 7.1 innings.

"I like our moxie," said Lake Monsters manager Rick Nash.

Vermont is now riding a 3-game win streak.
