Red-Hot García Scorches Drummers
|
Daniel García really sizzled at the plate in today's 15-2 win over Drummers. The Calgary right fielder blistered Tortolita for 5 hits in 6 at-bats.
"García was too tough to get out today," the Drummers skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
Daniel García singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, singled in the 8th and grounded out in the 8th.
In 45 games García is hitting .264 this season with 39 hits, 1 home run, 17 RBIs, 19 walks, .347 OBP and has scored 28 runs.
