The Alloway Halberds got a strong performance from pitcher Gilberto Ramírez, who stymied the Athletic Club KC offense en route to a 4-2 win at Ballpark of Alloway. Francisco García converted his 3rd save in 7 tries. Even with the win, the Halberds have a dismal 22-43 record.

Juan Caro, who is rated as the 34th best prospect by BNN, aided the Alloway cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the second. For the game, the center fielder was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
