Betchley, Drummers Get 8-1 Win
|
Tortolita turned a good effort from starter Robbie Betchley into a win over the Athletic Club KC Reserves at Drummers Ballpark. The final score was 8-1. Tortolita is now 37-26, while Athletic Club KC is 36-27.
Betchley, who is tied for 5th in the SAAA in innings pitched with 93.1, pitched a complete game for Tortolita. Betchley surrendered 2 hits over 9 innings and struck out 5. With the win, he moves to 5-5 on the season.
"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Betchley told the Tortolita Daily News.
