Halberds Beat Disaster in 11
|
Alloway Halberds starter Joel Farrell pitched effectively against the Port Royal Disaster at Ballpark of Port Royal. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 4-1 win. Even with the win, the Halberds have a dismal 21-40 record.
This game went down to the wire. In the top of the 11th, Juan Salinas had a big at-bat. With one out, the Alloway designated hitter hit a sacrifice fly, to put his team up, 2-1.
"We did a lot of things right," said Farrell.
