Drummers Continue Skid Thanks to López, Humpbacks
The Alaskan Humpbacks grabbed a 9-2 win over the Tortolita Drummers at Sea World. Alaskan first baseman José López went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 to earn player of the game honors. Tortolita's current losing streak is now 4 games.

López contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Alaskan in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 2-0, López took a fastball from Robbie Betchley and stroked the home run to left-center. His 14th home run of the season allowed the Humpbacks to leap in front, 3-2.

"I really like what we did out there today," López said after the game.
