It was a fun time at Sea World, where the Pure Michigan Great Lakers and Alaskan Humpbacks tangled.
Getting a good performance from right fielder Urs van Munster, the Alaskan Humpbacks defeated the Pure Michigan Great Lakers, 9-5. van Munster was 1-2 with 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Humpbacks. Alaskan reliever José Reyna was the winner. His record is now 2-4. The losing pitcher was Markus Visser.
Miguel Martínez, who is tied for 5th in the SAAA in bases on balls with 36, helped out the Alaskan cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the left fielder was 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 4 RBI.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Alaskan manager Karim Moulin.
The Humpbacks' win now puts them at 21-26.
