Vermont and Port Royal duked it out at Monster Field and the Lake Monsters came out victorious.

The Vermont Lake Monsters topped the Port Royal Disaster by the score of 6-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to designated hitter Chris Gregory. Gregory was 2-2 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Lake Monsters on the day. The save went to Cherles Gachineiro, his 10th this season.

Vermont grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Gregory hit a run-scoring single. His 12th hit of the season put the Lake Monsters out in front, 3-2.
