The Vermont Lake Monsters got a stellar performance from pitcher Bill Lee, who handcuffed the Alloway offense en route to a 6-2 win at Ballpark of Alloway. The winning pitcher was Lee, now 4-2. He tossed 5.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 4. Vermont currently is in 6th place in the Silver AAA at 23-22.

Chris Gregory helped out the Vermont cause in the top of the first inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the left fielder went 2-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Lee.
