The inspired effort of Port Royal designated hitter Ricky Payton was not enough to prevent a 5-3 loss to the Calgary Lynx. Payton was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times. Calgary is now 28-15, while Port Royal is 22-21.

Calgary took control in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and a runner on 2nd, Joe Aller hit a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Lynx.
