Pueblo Delivers Walk-Off Win for ParksNRec
|
The Alloway Halberds got a superb performance from pitcher António Marés, but the Pawnee ParksNRec still won the game, 3-2. Marés was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 7 innings of 2-hit ball. The Halberds, now 11-30, have lost 4 straight.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Pawnee right fielder Vicente Pueblo, facing Kenete Daku, had a run-scoring single. It gave the ParksNRec the 3-2 win.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Pueblo said.
