The Tortolita Drummers picked up a win at Sea World, knocking off the Alaskan Humpbacks, 10-1. On the mound for Tortolita was right-hander Darius Baxa, who played a pivotal role in the win. The first-place Drummers have a one-game lead in their division.

With the bases empty and two out in the top of the fourth inning, center fielder Nobuo Yamashita delivered big for the Drummers. Tortolita was leading 1-0 when he belted a solo home run.

"It was full throttle on our side," said Yamashita.
