Halberds Clip Disaster in Tight Contest
A 4-RBI performance from Armando Becerra helped the Alloway Halberds beat the Port Royal Disaster, 9-7. The save went to Kenete Daku, his 5th this season. Even with the win, the Halberds have a dismal 9-24 record.

Becerra had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a first pitch splitter from Miguel Hernández, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Halberds a 9-7 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Becerra.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Becerra.
