Pure Michigan starter Jimmy O'Flahavan pitched effectively against the Scranton Supernovas at Nuclear Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a 3-2 win. Noah Shellenbarger closed the door for Pure Michigan, picking up his 2nd save of the year. Pure Michigan occupies 4th place in the Silver AAA at 18-15.

This game went down to the wire. In the top of the 11th, Ryan Forrest had a big at-bat. With no one out, the Pure Michigan first baseman hit a sacrifice fly, to put his team up, 3-2.

"That's the key at this level, throwing strike one," said O'Flahavan. "Successful pitchers do it."
