The Alloway Halberds grabbed a 4-1 win over the Port Royal Disaster at Ballpark of Port Royal. Alloway designated hitter Juan Salinas went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once to earn player of the game honors. Ángel Rosas was the winning pitcher. Over 7 innings, he allowed 1 run on 5 hits, with 1 walk and 4 strikeouts. Kenete Daku picked up the save, his 4th.

Salinas had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-0 curveball from Félix Jiménez, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Halberds a 4-1 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Salinas.

Salinas told a Alloway Herald reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.

Even with the win, the Halberds have a dismal 8-24 record.
