Tortolita Drummers starter Mack MacDonald was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Alloway Halberds, 2-1. The win puts the Drummers at 20-9, while the Halberds drop to 6-23.

In the top of the second, Álex Hernández hit a 2-run double for Tortolita. The 2nd double of the season for the Tortolita catcher put the Drummers on top, 2-1.

"I felt good up there," said Hernández. "I saw the ball well."
