Alloway had no answer for Scranton Supernovas hurler Pedro Rodríguez, who overwhelmed Halberds hitters as the Supernovas coasted to a 7-1 victory. Rodríguez, now 2-3, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 4, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run. Apollo Cepeda, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save.

Felipe Bruno chipped in for Scranton, stroking a crucial single in the bottom of the fifth inning. For the game, the designated hitter was 2-4 with 2 singles and was hit by a pitch.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Bruno said.
