The exploits of shortstop António Quintero, who is tied for 10th in the SAAA in RBI with 13, helped the Port Royal Disaster defeat the Calgary Lynx, 4-1. Quintero went 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Joe Griffin picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-0. Manny Caraballo was tagged with the loss. Will Moore finished to wrap up his 5th save.
Quintero had an important at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the fourth, when he hit a run-scoring triple. The Disaster went on to win.
"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Quintero.
Losses have been few and far between for the Lynx so far this season. Their record drops to 14-6.
