Behind a solid performance from left fielder Marvin Hunter, the Port Royal Disaster defeated the Alloway Halberds, 8-2. Hunter was 3 for 5 with a triple and 2 singles. He scored 2 times for the Disaster. Port Royal reliever Joe Griffin got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Gilberto Ramírez was tagged with the loss. Port Royal is now 5-5.

António Quintero helped out the Port Royal cause in the top of the fourth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the second baseman was 1-3 with a walk.

"We came out aggressive," said Disaster manager Bobby Robinson. "We came out swinging the bats."
