ParksNRec Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start

The Pawnee ParksNRec turned back the Port Royal Disaster, 9-8, at Whips Ballpark. Enrique Costello was named player of the game for his fine performance. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Earning his 3rd save of the year was Denver Milne. The ParksNRec, with just their 3rd win so far in 2029, have yet to catch fire.
Costello came through with some timely hitting for Pawnee. With the score 1-0 in the bottom of the second and one down, Costello hit a 2-1 changeup for a run-scoring single. His 15th hit of the season made it 2-0, Pawnee.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Rusty Bennett said.
