The Lancaster Farmers overcame a good performance by Ft. Polk South second baseman José Morín to knock off Ft. Polk South, 7-6, at Farmers Field. Morín was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The win puts the Farmers at 51-42, while the Thunder Hawks drop to 47-46.

Had Pedro Torres not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Torres hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 7-6, in favor of the Farmers.

"We'll take this win and move on," said Torres.
