Josh Platt put on a hitting clinic today as the Little Caesars Hot N Readys dumped the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks 23-1 at Thunder Hawks Ballpark.

The Little Caesars right fielder made Ft. Polk South defenders earn their pay, lashing Ft. Polk South pitching for 5 hits in 7 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Platt said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Josh Platt hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off César Vásquez in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
