Victory Pushes Sonics Record to 38-25
|
The Atlantic City Sonics got a strong performance from pitcher Ramón Ocegueda, who stymied the Lancaster offense en route to a 3-1 win at Farmers Field. The Sonics bumped their record to 38-25 with this latest triumph.
Early in the game, designated hitter Karl Blanke had a run-scoring double for Atlantic City. It was his 11th double of the season and put the Sonics on top, 1-0.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Blanke said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
