The Lancaster Farmers and Minnesota Loons played an exciting game at Loony Bin.
Ray Skipworth had a good game, but he could not keep the Minnesota Loons from falling, 4-3, to the Lancaster Farmers at Loony Bin. The Minnesota designated hitter was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times in the loss. Woody Hudson nailed down his 8th save.
Woodrow Terrebonne had the most critical at-bat for Lancaster. With two in the top of the ninth inning, Terrebonne hit a 1-2 cutter from Fernando Barraza for a run-scoring single. It put Lancaster in front, 4-3.
"Both teams played hard," said Lancaster manager Omer van Osch.
Lancaster is now 18-21. Minnesota is 22-17.
