Rapiers Bang Out 9-5 Win Versus Irving
|
It was a fun time at Rapiers Ballpark, where the Irving Blue Sox and Durham Rapiers tangled.
Behind a solid performance from designated hitter Armando Chamú, the Durham Rapiers defeated the Irving Blue Sox, 9-5. Chamú was 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Rapiers. Archie Erickson was the winning pitcher. Over 5 innings, he allowed 5 runs on 6 hits, with 5 walks and 7 strikeouts.
