Thunder Hawks Shut Out Loons
|
Andy Brogan never let the Loons get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his cutter, to pitch the Thunder Hawks to a 4-0 win. César Vásquez picked up the save for Ft. Polk South, his 2nd of the year. Ft. Polk South is now 13-15, Minnesota 15-13.
With the bases empty and two out in the bottom of the sixth inning, left fielder Erik Sterk delivered big for the Thunder Hawks. Ft. Polk South was leading 1-0 when he belted a solo home run.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Brogan.
