Benefiting from Scott Donlan's productive game, the Irving Blue Sox downed the Minnesota Loons, 9-6. Donlan was 3 for 6 with 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Blue Sox. Armando Cruz picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-1. He struck out 4 in 8 innings. Rich McLean closed the game out for Irving, earning his 3rd save.
