Bowman Helps Ellenburg Cruise to 11-2 Win
|
The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds topped the Tremont Doubledays, 11-2, in M3L Triple A action at Dog Park in Ellenburg. The player of the game was Ellenburg catcher Roy Bowman. José Macías, who went 8.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 4 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 5-12. Ellenburg, at 49-53, occupies 7th place in the Menard's AAA.
Bowman had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the bottom of the eighth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Fighting Dachsunds went on to win.
