Flyers Come Up Short at Hialeah
|
Hialeah Dodos starter Matt Digby was in fine form against the Pennsauken Flyers at Dodos Ballpark, leading his team to a 5-4 win. Digby, now 6-3, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 7, walking 0, and allowing 1 earned run. The Dodos' win now puts them at 54-40.
Kumanosuke Asano helped out the Hialeah cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the right fielder went 2 for 4 with a double.
"Enjoyed this one," Asano told the Hialeah Chronicle. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
