Belugas Come Back Late to Top Fighting Dachsunds
With shortstop Orlando Velásquez leading the charge, the Brinkley Belugas defeated the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds, 6-4, at Belugas Ballpark. Velásquez hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The winner was Brinkley reliever António Rúbio, now 3-2. The loser was Vincent Bannon. Brinkley occupies 8th place in the Menard's AAA at 44-45.

Velásquez came through with some timely hitting for Brinkley. With the score 4-4 in the bottom of the ninth and one down, Velásquez hit a 0-1 circle change for a 2-run home run. His 8th home run of the season made it 6-4, Brinkley.

"This place was rockin'," said Velásquez.
