Victory Over Red Pandas Takes Bloomington to 48-26
|
Bloomington beat Sioux Falls at Lookouts Ballpark, eking out a 4-3 win. The win was due in large part to shortstop Nelson Jaramillo, who earned player of the game honors. Bloomington improves to 48-26 with the win. They lead their division by 6 games.
Jaramillo had a game-changing double in the bottom of the sixth. On a full count sinker from Orlando Uribe, he banged a run-scoring double to left, giving the Longnecks a 4-3 lead. It was the 15th double of the year for Jaramillo.
"We squandered some opportunities," said Sioux Falls manager Barry Embling.
