Men Continue Skid Thanks to Ramírez, Dodos
|
Hialeah first baseman Lorenzo Ramírez made his presence felt in the 10-8 Dodos triumph over the Florida Men. Ramírez was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5. Hialeah reliever Travis Grant picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Arturo Guerrero shouldered the loss. The Men, at 31-43, have lost 5 in a row.
Ramírez had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-1 fastball from Pat Pérez, he banged a run-scoring double to left-center, giving the Dodos a 6-5 lead. It was the 2nd double of the year for Ramírez.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Ramírez.
