Dominant Performance by McDonald in Pennsauken Win
|
The Pennsauken Flyers got a strong performance from pitcher Robby McDonald, who stymied the Tremont offense en route to a 2-0 win at Doubledays Stadium. Pennsauken now sits at 27-41, while Tremont falls to 30-38.
McDonald was in the zone all game. He frustrated Tremont hitters while giving the Flyers 7 innings of quality work. McDonald threw 108 pitches, allowing 2 hits and getting 7 punchouts.
"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Flyers manager Juan Rodríguez. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
