Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds starter Benjamin Busto turned in an exceptional performance against the Bloomington Longnecks at Dog Park in Ellenburg, resulting in a Ellenburg win, 2-1. José Tovar earned the save for Ellenburg, his 17th. The Fighting Dachsunds bumped their record to 30-25 with this latest triumph.

José Vázquez, who is tied for 9th in the 3AAA in bases on balls with 35, aided the Ellenburg cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the first. For the game, the first baseman was 3-4 with 3 singles.

"Some of the guys in here work pretty hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Vázquez told the Ellenburg Herald.
