Red Pandas Take Down Belugas, 7-4
|
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas knocked off the Brinkley Belugas, 7-4, at Belugas Ballpark. Alfred Miles, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Sioux Falls won. The left fielder went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Sioux Falls occupies 4th place in the Menard's AAA at 29-25.
Fa-tang Wang, who is tied for 10th in the 3AAA in runs scored with 33, aided the Sioux Falls cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder went 1-4 with a walk.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Sioux Falls manager Barry Embling.
