Longnecks Roll Over Belugas, 9-4
|
The Bloomington Longnecks topped the Brinkley Belugas by the score of 9-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to center fielder Willie McGirt. McGirt was 2-2 with 2 singles, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 runs for the Longnecks on the day. Bloomington reliever Juan Ángel picked up the win, upping his record to 1-3. Esteban Gómez shouldered the loss. Bloomington has now won 5 straight.
