Men Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Golden Cranes
|
Santa Barbara got a terrific performance from pitcher Gilberto Medina, but it wasn't enough to beat the Florida Men. Florida won the Psychos Ballpark contest, 7-5. Medina was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 5 innings of 3-hit ball. Elmer García got credit for the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 0.1 innings. Florida occupies 8th place in the Menard's AAA at 15-18.
Florida took a 7-5 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With one out, third baseman Warner Robinson hit a 3-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Robinson said after the game.
